About Bell
More world champions have worn Bell Helmets than all other helmet brands combined. From Grand Prix racing through the Indy 500 to Olympic cycling, Bell helmets have played a vital role in protecting sportsmen and women for nearly 50 years. Bell began as a small auto parts store in a suburb of Los Angeles. Growing under the leadership of Roy Richter, Bell became a leader in safety equipment for auto racing, motorcycling, and then bicycling. His commitment to creating great product through a close connection with the sport, along with his trust of and care for the people who worked for him, turned Bell from a one-man operation into a multi-million dollar enterprise. His legacy lives on today in Bell’s commitment to racing, quality and innovation.
Customer Reviews
Not worth the wait by Terrence Ryan
I’m sure the helmet is great but it takes 1-2 months to ship! You must be kidding me. I cancelled my order.
bell faction bike helmet by Patrick L. Robertson Sr.
very nice helmet,a little heavy.the only complaint i have is while there was plenty of extra padding for adjusting around the perimeter of the helmet there was none for the very top.your head will come in contact with a very hard surface at the top center.
This is a real Bell-ringer! by R. F. Tardif
This helmet yields great protection for the only part of me that works really well. I certainly use it whenever I ride my bike. The neihbors giggle when I wear it to clean my bike but, hey, who cares; it keeps me safe. In the winter the holes (there by design) let in enough air to keep me cool… cooler than I want to be. It will work out just great during the hot summers here in Sacramento… rather like crainial AC. Great product and packaging, speedy delivery, and a fair price. Just thinking about it makes me want to buy another!
Helmet is cool, shipper wasn’t. by Joel Michael Barr
I think I’ve already done this, but Amazon won’t stop molesting my e-mail, so I’ll do it again.
The helmet itself is a helmet, though it looks more red than burnt orange…not that it matters because I put decals on it as soon as I had had it for a few days…now it looks pretty damned cool.
My problem was how long it took to get to me. I paid for the extra shipping as I needed the helmet for my job, but it still took 3 weeks to get to me…despite repeated calls to the wharehouse in Florida that went unresponded to. It was after the last of these “Where’s my helmet, folks?” that I finally got the notice that it had shipped. In the end, I’m not sure I’ll be ordering anything from the shipper of any bike related items, it’s just not worth all that waiting around.
